What would a state’s policy environment look like if it were to support local school districts in developing effective approaches to strengthening the principal corps? That is the question Dr. Paul Manna, professor of government and public policy at William & Mary, seeks to answer in a new report commissioned by The Wallace Foundation.
On Wednesday, October 27, NASBE hosts Dr. Manna for a presentation of this important report. During the webinar, Dr. Manna will identify the key policy levers state board members can pull to drive comprehensive, aligned principal pipelines and the opportunities for state and local partnership to create an ecosystem that develops, supports, and sustains excellent principals.
Speakers on this webinar include:
- Dr. Paul Manna, Isabelle and Jerome E. Hyman Distinguished University Professor of Government and Director of the Public Policy Program at William & Mary
- Paul Katnik, Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Educator Quality, Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Robert Hull, NASBE president and CEO
