The only organization dedicated solely to helping state boards advance equity and excellence in public education.

In an era of rapid technological evolution, the intersection of education and technology is crucial for fostering innovative, equitable, and effective learning environments. At our Annual Conference last fall, Code.org’s Hadi Partovi illuminated AI’s transformative potential for education. NASBE is engaged in this work as an advisor to TeachAI and is also planning a State Education Standard exploring education technology.

We know NASBE members’ interest in this topic is growing and want to design a learning agenda to fit your needs. We invite members and board staff to join EdTech advisory group to share insights and state policy trends and provide feedback on NASBE’s educational technology initiatives. This group will explore issues surrounding AI in education, digital equity and inclusion, privacy and security, media literacy, and professional development or curriculum integration, to name a few.

Please fill out this brief questionnaire with interest by February 9, or contact NASBE’s Winona Hao for more information.
